The Company’s March and April performances in St. Petersburg are cancelled

Please, find the clarification for our audience of the situation with the Company’s St. Petersburg shows.

According to the order of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation dated March 17, 2020, the operation of the federal theatres was postponed for the spectators. Alexandrinsky Theatre which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture stopped access of the audience till April 11 inclusively. Moreover, upon the Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg dated March 18, 2020, all mass gatherings are banned in the city till April 30, 2020.

Due to the above, the performances of Russian Hamlet (March 28 and 29), The Pygmalion Effect (March 30 and 31), Eugene Onegin (April 1 and 30), Rodin, Her Eternal Idol (April 6), and Tchaikovsky PRO et CONTRA (April 28 and 29) were cancelled.

The issue of complete cancellation or rescheduling of the performances is being discussed at the moment. You may return the tickets to the box offices where you purchased them.
