Eifman Ballet to present the productions about the great Russian people of art to the European audience

In June, Eifman Ballet tours to several European cities. The Company will visit Monaco (June 2), Berlin (June 12, 13, 15 and 16), Bratislava (June 26 and 27) and Vienna (June 29 and 30) and present Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA production. The Berlin audience will have a chance to see Red Giselle as well.

The performance in Monaco – as well as the previous visits of Eifman Ballet to the Principality – is carried out within the framework of Gala Russe project, pursuing the tradition of promoting the Russian culture at the Côte d'Azur started by Sergei Diaghilev. The Company will perform at the Salle des Princes of Grimaldi Forum, a large contemporary congress centre, which hosts performances of internationally acclaimed artistic ensembles.

The shows in Berlin will be held at Theater am Potsdamer Platz. On June 12 and 13, the Сompany will perform Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA, and on June 15 and 16 – Red Giselle. This venue, one of the largest in Germany, is famous, amongst others, for hosting the Berlin International Film Festival. In Bratislava, the audience will see the masterpiece of Boris Eifman at the Slovak National Theatre, where Eifman Ballet danced in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The tour will end in Vienna, where the dancers will give three performances at the Burgtheater, on the last day of the tour the company will perform twice. Eifman Ballet is acquainted with the Burgtheater, one of the longest-standing European theatres, since its Vienna debut took place there in June 2016.
