Shows in in the capital of the Urals

The Company holds its first spring tour in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

On March 14 and 15, the Yekaterinburg audience will see Rodin, Her Eternal Idol. Our dancers will perform at the Yekaterinburg State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. The production dedicated to the great French sculptor will be presented in the capital of the Urals for the first time.

The upcoming tour will mark the jubilee: it was exactly 40 years ago, in March 1978, when Boris Eifman’s young company made its debut in Yekaterinburg (then named Sverdlovsk). For seven days, the Leningrad company presented a program of five one-act ballets at the stage of the Youth Palace, such as Interrupted Song, Love Only, Temptation, Under Cover of Night and Two-Voice.
