Beyond Sin amazed Bratislava

On November 17 and 18 the premiere of Boris Eifman’s Beyond Sin took place in Bratislava. One of most in-demand productions in the repertory of Eifman Ballet, the ballet based on The Brothers Karamazov novel by Fyodor Dostoyevsky was presented by the dancers of the Slovak National Theatre, the local orchestra and choir.

The plastic interpretation of the great masterpiece of Russian literature created by Boris Eifman really carried the spectators of their feet. After the end of the performances the full house of the Slovak National Theatre passionately applauded the choreographer and the dancers.

Bratislava extended the impressive list of the cities where Boris Eifman’s ballets were staged. His productions are dances by the leading ballet companies of Berlin, Vienna, Warsaw, Budapest, Naples, Riga, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Tokio, Seul, Astana. Beyond Sin became the first ballet by Boris Eifman staged in the capital of Slovakia. Eifman Ballet tutors Ilya Osipov and Ekaterina Zhigalova assisted Boris Efiman while preparing for the premiere.

In a week the audience of Bratislava will see Beyond Sin again. Next shows of the productions are scheduled till the end of the season (June 2018). It should be pointed out that in June Eifman Ballet will visit Bratislava as part of its summer European tour. The Company to bring Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA.
