Petersburg dives into the Jazz Age at the premiere of Up & Down

On January 27 and 28 Eifman Ballet's Up & Down was premiered in St. Petersburg. On both evenings Boris Eifman's new production received an ecstatic reception from the spectators. The full house of the Alexandrinsky Theatre dived into the sparkling Jazz Age and burst out in ovation at the end of the performance. The dancers, the choreographer and the stage designers came out for several curtain calls.
