We announce an October series of shows of Eifman Ballet in its hometown

“I strive to ensure that each of our new productions is brighter than the previous one and at the same time is not similar to it,” Boris Eifman shares one of the most important provisions of his creative strategy.
In October, at the Alexandrinsky Theatre, Eifman Ballet will present a diverse choreographic repertoire, which will be a perfect representation of these words. On October 17 and 18, there will be performances of a new version of the ballet Red Giselle, a reimagined homage to the brilliant 20th century dancer Olga Spessivtseva. On October 19 and 20, St. Petersburg residents will have a chance to see the imperially splendid historical dance blockbuster Russian Hamlet, filled with reflections on the destructive influence of the struggle for power on the inner world of a person. And on October 21, spectators will be charged with the life-affirming energy of rousing Broadway shows at the performance of the comedy production The Pygmalion Effect.
