Incredible triumph of the ballet The Pygmalion Effect!

On Septenber 16, the Israeli tour started at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center, marking the beginning of the new 46th season of Eifman Ballet. The dancers presented to the local audience the most cheerful ballet of the Company’s repertoire, the production The Pygmalion Effect, and caused a sensation, receiving a well-deserved ovation. “Pleasure and delight from the dancers, choreography, music by Strauss. I highly recommend it if there are still tickets,” the spectators share their impressions of what they saw.

Balletomanes of Tel Aviv have already applauded Eifman Ballet more than once. In 1999, the first meeting of the Company with the local audience took place at the performance of Red Giselle. The last visit was in 2018: as part of this tour, the dancers presented the ballets Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA and Russian Hamlet. Four years later, Eifman Ballet announced five performances at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center and faced an amazing audience excitement. Due to the huge demand, the auditorium simply could not accommodate everyone, and the organizers of the tour insisted that the number of shows be increased to seven.
