Lyubov Andreeva becomes Honored Artist of Russia

By decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the leading soloist of Eifman Ballet Lyubov Andreeva was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia!
Lyubov joined the Company in 2011. In the course of the years of fruitful work, she became the first performer of the main parts in the renowned productions Rodin, Her Eternal Idol (Camille), Up & Down (Nicole Warren), Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA (Antonina Milyukova, Tchaikovsky’s wife), Russian Hamlet (The Wife of the Heir), The Pygmalion Effect (Gala), Molière Passion, or The Mask of Don Juan (Armande), Crime and Punishment (Sonya Marmeladova). Lyubov’s artistic style is characterized by the subtle lyricism of her dance and the unique psychological depth of the stage images she creates.
Over the past few years, the Company leading soloist has also worked actively as the choreographer’s assistant, helping Boris Eifman successfully realize his ideas during the creative process.
