The big tour in Central Asia

photo

In April, audiences in Central Asia will have an excellent opportunity to experience the choreographic repertoire of modern Russia.

For more than two weeks, Eifman Ballet will tour Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. The Company will present in these countries a drastically reworked version of Red Giselle, last year’s premiere, as well as the production Beyond Sin.

The tour will begin with performances in Astana (April 1, 2, and 3) and continue in Almaty (April 7 and 8). On April 10 and 11, Eifman Ballet will perform in Bishkek, and on April 14, 15, and 16 in Tashkent, which the Company has visited regularly in recent years. Dance lovers in Kazakhstan will see for the first time an entirely new version of the ballet about the fate of the great performer of the part of Giselle Olga Spessivtseva, as well as a choreographic interpretation of Dostoevsky’s novel. Audiences in Bishkek will also discover Beyond Sin. Tashkent spectators will have a chance to appreciate Red Giselle in its 2025 version.

VTB Bank is the General Partner of Eifman Ballet.
