The screen ballet Tender is the Night will be shown for the first time in St. Petersburg

On April 2, at 18.00, at the Velikan Park Cinema Center (4/3 Alexandrovsky Park) the premiere screening of Boris Eifman’s screen ballet T_ender is the Night_, a screen version of the production Up & Down, will take place.

Last year, Moscow spectators had a chance to see the film while St. Petersburg audience will see it for the first time. As part of an exclusive screening, Boris Eifman, the director of the film, as well as the Company stars who had the main parts, will present the film to the audience.

The shooting of Tender is the Night took place in St. Petersburg in 2016. The director of photography was Yuri Shaygardanov, one of the most experienced and acknowledged Russian filmmakers. Leading soloists of the Company starred in the film: Oleg Gabyshev (Dick Diver), Lyubov Andreyeva (Nicole Warren), Sergey Volobuev (Nicole’s father), Maria Abashova (Rosemary Hoyt), Dmitry Fisher (Tommy).
