Gala concert in honor of the anniversary of Boris Eifman

On July 22, Boris Eifman turns 75 years old. We invite all fans of the art of the choreographer to join the celebration of the anniversary at a grand gala concert at the Alexandrinsky Theatre.

During the evening, fragments from selected productions by Eifman will be performed, revealing the long way of his personal and creative growth. Specially for the gala concert, Eifman Ballet will rehearse scenes from its legendary productions of past years which have long dropped out of the Company’s repertoire. In addition, guests will be able to watch episodes from the upcoming production The Seagull. A Ballet Story, a new choreographic interpretation of the play by Anton Chekhov.
