Ufa to see Red Giselle

An interesting fact: the legendary ballet Red Giselle has conquered the stages of many countries around the world, but has never been performed in Ufa.

Very soon, this omission will be corrected. On September 30 and October 1, Eifman Ballet will present a new, original production, premiered in 2025, on the theme of the tragic fate of the brilliant dancer Olga Spessivtseva, in Ufa. The excitement among the Ufa audience around the arrival of the Company with the revived and completely reworked Red Giselle was so great that Eifman Ballet decided to hold an additional, daytime, performance on October 1.

We know: the love of connoisseurs of modern choreographic art is stronger than circumstances. And therefore, the not very optimal time of the added performance will certainly not become an obstacle for those who want to get acquainted with the premiere.

Tickets for the Company’s Ufa performances are already available on the website of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre, which will host the dancers.
