A return to the land of the pyramids

Performances in Egypt will become Eifman Ballet’s final international tour of 2025.

On December 12 and 13, the Company will present the comedy production The Pygmalion Effect in the New Administrative Capital (a city situated near Cairo, designed to become the country’s modern political and business hub). The performances will take place at the New Opera House. This magnificent, recently constructed complex forms the heart of the City of Arts and Culture – a unique space that brings together various performance venues, museums, libraries, and exhibition galleries.

Eifman Ballet previously visited the land of the pyramids only once – in 2009. More than 15 years ago, audiences in Cairo and Alexandria witnessed the legendary ballets The Karamazovs and Russian Hamlet.

The Official Partners of the Eifman Ballet’s tour in Egypt are Severstal Company and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.
