The Company’s first-ever visit to India, which concluded on December 10, generated enormous interest in the local press. Articles about the production Anna Karenina, which captivated nearly the entire world, as well as about the art of Russian psychological ballet theatre developed by Eifman Ballet, were published, among others, in such major English-language printed sources of the country as India Today and The Tribune.

“Everyone who comes to our performances will experience an inner upheaval. Our art never leaves anyone indifferent,” is how the choreographer describes in one of the publications the reasons for the unique demand for the Company’s repertoire.
